WHO WE ARE

Partnership with Children, Inc. is a New York City based non-profit organization that provides early intervention, preventive services and counseling to New York City's children and youth. Our teams of professional social workers integrate themselves into school communities and provide comprehensive support to children and families who need it most.

Partnership with Children runs three programs in order to achieve its goals. OPEN HEART - OPEN MIND sends teams of degreed social workers into elementary and junior high schools in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island five days a week from September through June, to encourage the active participation of the entire school community in the development of a supportive learning environment. The CENTER FOR CAPACITY BUILDING offers professional development and training, as well as an Open Heart - Open Mind replication model for urban school success. The LIFE STEPS Program provides counseling and preventive services for Brooklyn youth at risk of being removed from their families due to abuse, neglect or family break-up.

Partnership with Children achieves it goals through the work of a team of administrative staff, social work / counseling staff, and a dedicated Board of Directors.
