YOUNG PROFESSIONALS COMMITTEE
History
Founded as the Junior Committee in December 1996, Partnership with
Children's Young Professionals Committee is composed of individuals
who are committed to supporting our mission to strengthen the emotional,
social and cognitive skills of at-risk children so that they can
succeed in school, in society and in their lives. The Young Professionals
Committee strives to raise awareness of the organization's programming
and to contribute funds by calling upon their professional skills
and knowledge.
Over the years the Young Professionals Committee has raised funds
for Partnership with Children through unique events that contribute
to the organization's programs financially while creating opportunities
for personal outreach in a social setting. The committee's work
gives young professionals the opportunity to develop leadership
skills in a philanthropic environment and to use their talents and
contacts to strengthen the organization while they network and acquire
new business and personal contacts.
Goals & Expectations
- Young Professionals Committee members should be dedicated to
the organization's mission to serve at-risk children and committed
to using their skills and strengths to build up the organization.
- Young Professionals Committee members should contribute to the
committee through participation in monthly meetings, soliciting

and events.
- Young Professionals Committee members brainstorm new strategies
and approaches for fundraising opportunities, marketing, outreach
