PARTNERSHIP WITH CHILDREN IS IN DETROIT!
We are excited to share that our Center for Capacity Building was chosen to train staff in Detroit public schools to implement our peer mediation program during the 2010-2011 school year. The CCB was chosen to run the programs because of our innovative, social/emotional learning approach to decreasing student conflicts. After first training school staff in the peer mediation program, we will oversee and continue to offer support as those staff train their own students in mediating non-violent conflicts. We turn negative behavior into positive leadership!
