Middle school students from Fort Greene, Brooklyn recently visited the Drawing Center in SoHo, Manhattan for a tour of Center's exhibition of the late American artist Ree Morten's works. While exploring the exhibition of post-Modern drawings and drawing-based sculptures, the students also took part in hands-on drawing activities. The visit offered students an opportunity to develop their knowledge about visual language, the creative process of artists, and to try their hands at making art as well.
