Gardening for Good with Morgan Stanley

Nearly two dozen Morgan Stanley volunteers exchanged computers for shovels and suits for gardening gloves as part of the company's Global Month of Volunteering. Each June Morgan Stanley encourages its employees to volunteer their time for organizations whose mission they support. We're proud to be one of the organizations chosen by Morgan Stanley for this wonderful volunteering initiative! Volunteers spent an entire afternoon at PS 25 in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, where they learned about Partnership with Children's mission and Open Heart-Open Mind program before being paired up with students in our Environmental Group. Together the volunteer-student pairs worked their magic on the school's garden, transforming it from an overgrown weed patch into a beautiful garden filled with flowers. With some of the weeds as tall as our students, it was no small feat! We thank all of our volunteers for dedicating time to spend with our children and Morgan Stanley for supporting this great volunteer event!
