On June 15th, ten volunteers from Morgan Stanley dedicated an entire workday to children in our Open Heart-Open Mind program from P.S. 20 on Staten Island. The children and volunteers began by practicing learning skills and demonstrating how to cooperate and communicate in ways that were fun and enjoyable. The Morgan Stanley group then took the kids to Staten Island's "Snug Harbor" park for an afternoon of discovery, using all of their senses to explore different aspects of nature. It was a perfect day for sharing and learning outdoors!
