2007 WRAP-A-THON SETS RECORDS  
The week of December 17th saw over 100 volunteers from various organizations descend upon Partnership with Children’s lower Manhattan offices to wrap thousands of holiday presents for children and families in need.
Donated by the NBC Today Show Holiday Gift Drive, and some anonymous donors, the gifts were sorted according to gender and age. Partnership with Children’s social workers sorted through the toys, picking and choosing appropriate gifts for each of the students they serve and their family members. Then, volunteers from Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, High Water Women and other groups spent hours cutting, taping and decorating gifts so that they could be delivered to homes in time for Christmas morning. This year, we wrapped a record number of gifts in just 2 days! Thank you very much to all the volunteer wrappers who made this accomplishment possible.
