Partnership with Children hosted its first ever Junior Olympics at IS 123 in the Bronx, and welcomed welterweight champion Vivian Harris as a guest speaker. Sixth and seventh-grade students tried their hands, (and feet!), at activities like sit-ups and jumping rope. Working in teams, they competed to finish each physical challenge, and discovered breaking a sweat can be fun! Boxer Vivian Harries shared his life story and emphasized the importance of staying healthy, both physically and mentally.
