Sixth, seventh and eighth grade Partnership with Children students from IS 123 in the Bronx gave a warm welcome to New York City Congressman Joe Crowley in his site visit to the school on May 11th. Serving as representatives of their school groups, including an Environmental Group and Leadership group, the students shared with Congressman Crowley the positive impact Partnership with Children has had on their lives, within and outside of school. In addition to speaking with the students, the Congressman met with principal Virginia Connelly; and Partnership with Children’s Executive Director, Michelle Sidrane, Associate Executive Director of Programs, Barbara Cavallo, and Site Director George Lavezzary. Congressman Crowley serves New York City’s 7th district, which covers parts of Queens and the eastern section of the Bronx.
