Partnership with Children middle school students from JHS 265 in the Fort Greene, Brooklyn are busy preparing for future careers in a new job readiness and financial literacy program launched by our agency and New York Life. Each month the students visit New York Life's offices in Manhattan and pair up with their volunteer partners to learn important professional skills such as how to interview, dress and behave professionally, how to write a resume, and how to manage money. The program takes place over eighth monthly sessions, each of which focuses on a different topic like personal goal setting and conducting job searches.

When asked what she feels she is learning by taking part in the program, one JHS 265 student answered "I am learning about self awareness and how to better myself in the future. I like the adults in the program and how they bring out the goodness in me."
