CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE IS A HUGE SUCCESS

The holiday spirit was alive and well in Partnership with Children’s office as hundreds of toys arrived in the days leading up to Christmas. Thanks to our affiliation with NBC’s Today Show Toy Drive and the not-for-profit organization 100 Women in Hedge Funds, we were able to distribute wrapped Christmas gifts to hundreds of children and their families this season.

Social workers created “wish lists” for families who needed a little extra help during the holidays, giving names and ages for every child within a family. Gifts were organized with special attention paid to each individual child. We were fortunate to receive gifts that were age-appropriate for a wide variety of children and youth that we serve as well as for their siblings.

In addition to organizing a toy and book drive that provided many wonderful gifts to our agency, a number of volunteers from 100 Women in Hedge Funds generously gave their time and energy to wrap hundreds of presents with personalization so that they were ready for delivery. Because of their help our social workers were able to play the role of Santa to many families on Christmas Eve.

The marathon gift wrapping day was so successful that we hope to make it an annual event! Thank you to the volunteers from 100 Women in Hedge Funds who participated this year.

Partnership with Children would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to NBC’s Today Show Toy Drive and everyone who made this year’s gift drive possible.
