2008 – 2009 School Year Results

Partnership with Children students showed the following improvements as a result of receiving our services:

• 45.6% increase in ELA Level 3+4 (highest) scores for grades 3-8 students receiving our core services; 135% greater increase than citywide
• 59% greater decrease in students receiving ELA Level 1 (lowest) scores for our grades 3-8 students receiving our core services
• 16.6% increase in Math Level 3+4 (highest) scores for grades 3-8 students receiving our core services; 66% greater increase than city-wide
• 73.4% decrease in Math Level 1 (lowest) scores for grades 3-8 students receiving our core services

Attendance:

• 1.4% increase in attendance from 90.4% to 91.8% for our student sover previous years (2.5 days)*

Behavior:

• 126% increase in positive teacher to students verbal interaction
• 148% increase in positive student peer to peer verbal interaction
• 52% decline in student off-task behavior
• 99% of teachers, 99% of parents and 100% of students observed improved student self-esteem
• 100% of teachers, 99% of parents and 99% of students observed improved academic functioning
• 98% of  teachers, 97% of parents and 100% of students agree that their emotional affect and behaviour improved as a result of the program
